I recently got put on my high schools high jump team and I'm used to lifting weights to strengthen my body more than just practicing.|||If you want to jump higher, you need to train each stage of the jumping so: starting, progressive acceleration, power output.
Starting: exercises like box squat, hyper extension one leg. (need to be explosive)
Power output: height jump, calf jump.
progressive acceleration: deadlift.
Those are really good for jumping.
