How to practice high jump at home?

I rarely get to practice high jump at school because the boys track team and high school team are always using it. Will doing high backflips on the trampoline or anything like that help me do better at high jump?|||Get some standards(bookshelfs maybe?) or something else to rest the bar(broom?) on. And use your trampoline or a bunch of old matresses as a landing pit. Work on your approach and 3 step technique. Doing backflips on a trampoline really wont help much. Have fun and stay safe.|||@ larry johnson -- You can only jump 5 foot 2?? Im 12 and I can jump higher than that...
