How can I get better at the high jump?

Hi ive done the high jump for 3 years this will be my 4th and im a freshmen in high school. I was wondering if there where any exercises that i could do to get higher.

I have great form it could be better but im not going to be able to get much higher at all by form.

So what could I do to get better ups and about how long will it take until i see improvements.|||It's the simple concept of defying gravity. You need enough muscle contraction force and speed to propel yourself high into the air. Once you have the vertical, you can work on form.

Start by doing resistance explosion exercises.

Do squats and other leg exercises with heavy weights that limit you to about 10 reps.

Lunges with the same principle, do sprints from 25-50 yards.

Work on your upper body power because it also contributes to your vertical propulsion.

When you train, you need to act like you're trying to jump effortlessly with all the weight on your back. You have to train your mind that you NEED to be able to jump high.|||Just jump REEEALLY high... (:

Haha jk I really don't know but..

2 Points! =]
