and is there any other animals that can jump higher than cats? and why cant humans jump high like cats?|||I'm not to sure but I do know that cats have flexible, cushion like joints and strong muscles in the hind leg.
Very good coordination is involved as well.|||Cats jump so high because they excercise a ton, basically all they do is eat, sleep, go to teh bathroom and excercise. So cats are healthy and they are natural jumpers-they have haunches for jumping and thats why there feet are so big for jumping and climbing, Also, cats have lots of muscles as in many different types of muscles in theres legs which also makes them natuurals at jumping. An example of an animal that can jump higher than the cat is the kangaroo I believe not exactly sure though... And humans can't jump like cats because we do not have the same muscles as cat do for jumping we have far less muscles in our legs and we just weren't built for jumping as high as a cat.|||Their legs are very strong due to how much they run, jump, hunt etc. God forbid the day cats start eating junk and sit on the comp all day long. Their muscles are spring-like too, they coil and release. I also thing the backward knee thing helps cats. We evolved more for balance then jumping.
