How can i learn to jump high with both legs?

In for example chinese movies and video clips with martial arts i have often seen persons jump VERY high standing still and jumping with both legs. How can i learn to if not do the same, at least get better at this?|||Any jump training exercise programs such as AirAlert. Just Google something like "How to increase vertical."|||the best way to jump higher with both legs is to combine strength with speed in your training. I am sure you are working on developing your leg and core strength, but many forget about developing their quick twitch muscle fibers, used in muscle explosion. To jump higher, you want to train your body for explosion, which is a combination of strength and quickness.


Plyometric exercises are used to develop your quick twitch muscles.


To see videos, articles, sample workouts, and a great manual to learn to jump higher, go to http://www.howto-jump-higher.com|||i am short and always used to have trouble jumping. but then read somewhere if you crouch down (not all the way down, keep it in a comfortable position) then push up with your legs as hard as you can (think of it like exploding off the ground) and swing your arms up as hard as you can at the same time you start your jump, then your jump will be much higher. i tried this and it immediately worked, very significant difference. i am only 5'7 and can grab the rim of a basketball hoop on 10 feet because of this. obviously some of this requires a little god-given talent though.|||you need to increase leg strength and power. this is done with various forms of training.
